Using Artwork a Little Differently...

I have been thinking a lot about ways to make my artwork and items-- basically, my Saturated Canary brand-- a little more cohesive. From the thank-you cards I send to buyers with their purchase, to business cards, it's pretty important that everything has the same feel...and a professional look. I've been playing around with digital tags today...And, good news for me, they look really cute printed out. Just a whole punch and a little twine-- and I've got cute tags to tie up packages with!...

I didn't really have a theme; but figured I'd just try a bunch of different layouts and artwork...I really like them:). I used Digital Scrapbook Artist 2 software available here. It is fairly easy and for someone as slow moving as myself on the computer, I did all six in a little over an hour. Pretty awesome:)

Speaking of artwork, check out the blog hop at the Simply Sassy Blog going on today! I visited all the girl's blogs-- and felt quite inspired and happy after seeing all their beautiful creations!...Release 5 includes a few pretty girls, a little cutie, a hippie, and even a baker;)...It is probably one of my favorite sets so far. I like the variety that Karen chose to make into rubber...And, as always, the design team works magic with their creativity and skills!! Check them out here!

Okay, well, I need to go run a quick mile or two (or five...I've been really snacking this week;) before date night tonight:) Yay!...It's pasta and a bookstore. Sounds pretty fun:)...Hope your Saturday is going great too!:)

  7. I particularly like the last one - plus having a cohesive look is so important. I love the thought you put into what you are doing. That was such an intriguing hop yesterday - lots more to think about - my goal this week is to use Hippie Chick that I have coloured for my last Sugar Bowl but couldn't use for the new Sugar Bowl & so I can grab one (or both) of your super Sassy Stampers for my blog. Thanks again for your lovely comments that really encourage me no end - this world of colouring & artistic card making is an amazing one.
    Have a good week.

  8. Great tags - would'nt they make a perfect tag book, perhaps with their name, star sign and some details of likes and dislikes on the back.
