Style at 7.

Today was a little uninspiring, as it was filled with hours of sorting through mail, re-filing bills, and tracing images for stamps. (Drawing stamp designs = lots of fun!...re-tracing those images = not so fun;) Anyways, I'm just gonna be honest here: I'm still in the same clothes from last evening:). Not so fashionable today! I'm actually kind of embarrassed for Phil to get home tonight. At this point, it's just too late to even try:). Thank goodness he loves me despite my messy make-up and holey leggings!

I asked Niamhy to step in for today's post. Show a little of her girly style. She is seven. Really loves looking sweet and princess-esque. This is her summer staple-- two layered skirts/dresses. It is a nice way to mix and match prints, add a little 'quirky' to a kiddo's style, and keep a girl feeling super pretty:). Plus, there is the added benefit of stretching out dresses from a couple years ago that would otherwise be a little short. It really is her everyday summer outfit! Today she wore a giraffe printed dress (she wore this to the Animal Kingdom in Disney two years ago) and a pretty aqua printed skirt. Did the Gwen Stefani thing with her hair (three pigtail-stlye buns). And she was more than willing to show off her seven-year-old fashion sense;)

This last one was her suggested pose. A hula dance sort of thing she was doing in the front yard. It made her giggle when I had it up in Picnik. Especially when I heat-mapped it and she turned infrared! Have a great Tuesday! Thanks for checking in:)

  2. What a fabulous little lady! I love the idea of getting more use out of a too-short dress by layering it like that. Super cute!

  6. A real stunner - so pretty & I love the practicality of the layered dress; it looks like one of those super expensive designer things from an exclusive kidswear shop. Love the hair style & the first black & white photo.
