This is my prototype. Yes, I am insane when it comes to invitations. I make highly specialized prototypes to see if they 'work.' This one passed the test:). A little book. With a nerdy corner bookmark inside. I got the thumbs up from Niamh. So, off to Michael's tonight to grab a few more embellishments to complete the set of them.

I think they will be adorable. Each one is unique, so she gets to pick who gets which bookmark:). I can't wait to get the decorations and favors. Thinking storybooks for the kids. It's better than candy (I guess;). Now I just need to figure out where to have it. I wish we could borrow a library for the day:). Or Barnes and Nobles. Although, I know for sure we'd get kicked out. Phil and I both have fun, high volume families:). Not bookstore material, really:).

Oh wow Krista these are fab!! Please can I come??
ReplyDeletehehehe...YES Jane. Bring your girls too:):)

Krista these are so cute. I am so sure the girls will love those. Books as gifts sound fun. Great idea. Niamh is such a lucky little girl.

Wow!!! Those invitations are fab - I wish I had you around when I was having parties as a kid LOL!!! Happy Birthday to Niamh in case I don't get to say it again (I can't believe how many 8's surrounding her birth!! This should be a special year for her!) And while I'm here - I've already been and bought the new collection of Sassy's OH MY GOODNESS - they totally, totally rock!!! Just when I think they can't get any better - you knock it right outta the park!!! Butterfly girl was MADE for me!! I just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE them all. Can't wait til they arrive and I can start creating with them!!!! Hugs, Marie xxx
ReplyDeleteAwww, so so sweet! I love that you custom create her invites - that character is insanely adorable. and I LOVE LOVE the corner bookmarks! So cute and perfect for the invites - a little keepsake they get. :D You are pretty darn cool. My son will have a special birthday like that - he was born mar 9 @ 9:19pm so on his 9th bday I think I'm gonna have to do a big one for him as well! good thing I have 8 yrs to plan it out. haha
ReplyDeleteoh wow this is definitely unique! it's even better because they're custom made and each invite is different :)
