If you love spaghetti, then you know it is always better tasting on the second day. Don't really know why, but it is. For sure. It just has to sit for a while, people. Then go back to it, and yum, yum, yum.
That is how smashing is sometimes, too. Letting a page sit for a bit can be a good thing. Come back to it a little later. Make it better. Because you add a little spice to it. The tiny details make a beautiful page!
Today I'm joining a bunch of awesome, Smash-a-licious girls on a blog hop. Be sure to check out all their pages and creations, as there are a lot of prizes and fun giveaways! For my first page, I used the wedding Smash book. I am not using it for wedding photos or anything like that. Instead it is 'Me & Phil' sort of deal. Pages full of notes and lovely little things we've shared.
Here is the first step in making my
spaghetti Smash page:). Hope you enjoy!
After I was finished, I let it sit. Came back to it. Decided I wanted to tie a few more pieces together. Like, the yellow bee ribbon I used. I needed a 'bee' something-or-other somewhere else on my page to make it all flow better. So, I added a pocket on the back of my left page, and made a cute pull-out tag with some sweet Freckles and Pigtails stamps! I also added some gorgeous yellow-flowered Freckled Fawn material tape. I think just those two things made my page complete. The meatball on my spaghetti! Perfecto!
For this leg of the hop, I have a wonderful prize from a beautiful company, Freckled Fawn. They are offering ! two ! winners a $10 dollar gift certificate to their sweet online shop! You've GOT to go check out this place. Besides being kinda magical, it is filled with all kinds of tape girls! Material tape, washi tape, glass tape...and all of it is super pretty!
