I just got these super cute 'green' flat backs in the mail this week...and wasn't sure how to use them.  But I had a great idea using a quote from a favorite book...and some nature-themed pieces I had stowed away, some Freckles and Pigtails and Amy Tangerine embellishments.

I am so happy how this page turned out.  It is very 'me' as far as Smash pages go:).

Hope you all are having a great Saturday!!
We are off for some roller skating this afternoon:)...

xx

  1. It's a gorgeous page, I'm just starting my first Smash book, only just arriving over here. But I love them. Got the blue one so far, I will be using some SC images in there as so many illustrate what I'm saying so well. I've taken inspiration from this so thanks. Take care Zo xx

  18. Wow, this is so beautiful! I love when you share your creations - they always amaze me. This one in particular felt very close to home... I mostly grew up in Portland (OR) and live in Seattle now, so life is usually cloudy and rainy here! On the other hand, it's also gorgeous - full of evergreens and other plant life. =)

Anyway, I love your card and look forward to seeing what else you come up with!

  19. *Sorry, I said card but I meant pages - I make cards myself so I always think of cardmaking before scrapbooking!

  20. It looks very 'you' & I love the way you brought God into this so naturally. The way you put ideas & embellishments together on Smash pages is terrific.
