Here are some of my latest Smash pages:). I did an ice cream one, a bowling page (Phil is a huge bowler:), and a big Chicago/ CHA page:). See some of the new rubber images?! They make cute additions to scrap pages, left uncolored. I kinda like them like that:).
I've been using my Instax camera a lot for my Smash pages. The photos are the *perfect* size for smashing! I loveeeeeee this camera! I carry it everywhere now:).
And I have an Instax Mini 25 for one of my readers!! Yup. I'm giving one of these gorgeous girls away! Somebody needs to take it out of my house before Niamh snatches it away for herself:).

ReplyDeleteMy favourite summer dish is Eton mess, I'm a bit rubbish at making pretty looking meringues so this is the perfect solution, strawberries, cream and broken up meringues all thrown together in a bowl, just perfect :o)

My favourite summer food?....uhmmm....mixed salad (tomatoes, tuna, cheese, peppers, salad, carrots, corn) or rice salad (boiled rice with pickled vegetables).

ReplyDeleteMy FAVE Summer food is corn....I know:0) CORN! It has got to be Mexican style; first you add some lemon to it then some mayo; sprinkle with cheese, add some butter, and top it off with some spicy powder chili....YUM! Not healthy...but at least its a veggie in there:0)

Well, I see everyone goes for watermelon... like I was going to... I must say a piece of juicy melon is nice, but I also like to make myself a huge glass of iced coffee... I'm not sure if that qualifies as food, but it sure is yummy! I'm also partial to bbq'ed food in the summer... and salad... and... oh, this makes me hungry... lol...

ok favorite summer food...skirt steak tacos with guacamole and topped off with a spicy sauce. ALOT of fruit but a favorite drink of mine is a Chinesse fruit topiaca drink that is only best at a hidden spot in Chinatown ,YUM!!!!!

Otherwise, my husband makes this absolutely delicious chicken salad. You take some salad greens (whatever kind you like) and put it on a plate with your salad toppings (I have just a little cheese and some yummy grape tomatoes) and then add some chicken to the top that's been cooked on the stove top in some Pam cooking spray (way better than oil) along with some rosemary, sage, and thyme. Add favorite salad dressing...voila! It's fast and it doesn't heat up the whole house making it. It's also quite filling!

I adore strawberries and fresh garden peas. Strawberries start with Wimbledon Tennis Tournament. Peas just remind me of summers when I was little and the tractor used to go over the bridge where we lived and we used to pull them off the trailer and eat them straight form the pod. Such happy times. xxx

Oh my Days are you kidding me? could do with this camera, well, my favourite food in summer has got to be Strawberries and i'm partial to a big wedge of watermelon, but yeah Strawberries, as they are at their best now and the cheapest ever, my hubby is lovely and buys me at least 4 punnets a week when he goes out to the shops, ive been eating Strawberries that much lately that i'm gonna start looking like one, they are juicy, sweet and whats more they are nearly calorie free, what more can we ask?

ReplyDeleteFavorite summer food....hard to narrow that down. I make a great strawberry-angel food-jell-o dessert...I'll even share: 1/2 an angel food cake ripped up, I reg size bag of frozen strawberries (you could use fresh too), 1 box of strawberry jell-o and a container of cool whip. You make the jell-o but with less water. When it starts to set up, mix in the cool whip. Pour over the cake and strawberries (I use a 9 x 13 cake pan)--mix a little and chill! It's what I always bring to summer events!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite summer food is soft ice cream cones. On hot summer days we go around 9 o'clock in the evening for our ice cream cone. Dairy bars are open in summer only.

I'm a somewhat new follower! My favorite summer foods are melons and berries, but typically, I would also say Black Forest Cake (my husband's birthday is this month, and this is usually what he requests). This year, however, he wants an ice cream cake, so I getting ready to make my first! Of course, ice cream is GREAT for summer!

ReplyDeleteI think one of the best foods, for myself, is corn on the cob. It's so delicious and goes with close to every summer meal. Plus if you dress it up mexican style with the cheese and lime it's sooooo good. Yumm : )

I have had Instax camera sitting in my wish list on Amazon for almost a year! Every time I start to buy it, I get buyers remorse. I shy away from purchasing items like this because my kiddos come first! But one day - I will get onw!!!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite summer food, can I tell you a few? Barbaque, fruits (peaches, apricots, plums, melon - no watermelon -, strawberries, raspberries, almost any summer fruit) and icecream. I am not a fan of salads but I like that in summer there is more variety of veggies too...

ReplyDeleteMy favourite summer food; Vanilla ice cream, the real thing with vanilla seeds in it. It goes with any desert or is fab on its own, so versatile. Mind you, I think Vanilla ice cream is good for any season of the year.
