Mug.

saturated canary digis
Here is a quick, fun project I found on A Beautiful Mess last week.  (It's one of my longest followed and most favorite blogs)...I knew right away I wanted to try it!  These easy to make, personalized coffee (or tea) mugs would be perfect gifts, party favors,...or just a nice morning surprise for a shared cuppa joe with your spouse.

This one is mine.  I need to wait for the craft store to get more of these mugs (I bought the last one) to make another to match.  Plus, I want to come up with something clever.  Impressing Phil with my wittiness is not an easy feat:)...but I'm gonna try:).

All you need is a porcelain mug.
A Sharpie.
And some steady hands:).

I fall into the last category there---- the walking zombies.
This girl wants nothing to do with an early morning:).

Have a great Sunday!

  3. I really like how simple this project is and the clean lines. The hardest part is coming up with a fun quote. With an infant and a toddler at home I fall in the zombie category too.

  16. LOL Krista! We are very much alike in this instance, i am not a morning person and i love my coffee, my whole family know my love for coffee and try to buy me coffee related presents every birthday or Christmas, hence me asking you for a coffee swilling digi girl!! LOL.....will a Sharpie resist constant washing then? I might try a porcelain pen instead!
    Hugs, Vick xx

  22. I'm with you, Krista... the walking zombies must stick together, ya know! The only time I see an early morning is when I don't go to bed all night, which happens way too often lately. I love this idea. Would be great if there was a way to add one of your adorable digis to the mug! The zombie and vampire would be perfect, wouldn't they?

  23. I am a walking zombie too! Don't even try to talk to me in the morning until I've had my coffee. Then a reheat up in the afternoon. I had to cut back on my evening cup due to health issues. I love a good cup of joe!
