Sharing a quick Smash Page today! I used my newest digi Jamie Workout for this page:). I will also be uploading a coloring video using 'Jamie' tomorrow morning for the launch of the Saturated Canary YouTube DT! Be sure to come by and check it out. I'm still working on getting the hang of this video thing. Each time gets a little better. (The improvements are minuscule, but I think they are there:)...
Each day this coming week my DT will be uploading a new video using an SC image. They are going to have some great posts! Plus, there will be SC digi prizes each day:).
You may have noticed how much I love to use flat backs on my Smash pages and Daybooks. I think they are my favorite type of embellishment to go sorting through, trying to find the perfect piece for my page. I found this really cute Etsy shop called A Flair for Buttons that is just chock full of super cute designs! I have a whole new collection now. They just kept magically popping over to my cart:).

ReplyDeleteMy favourite embellishments for cards are stickles, gems & pearls. But I have to say that those flat back buttons look awesome as well... It may be worth trying them out and Flair has soo many different ones in her shop.

ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome smashpage here again Krista. I just love the real looking embellies here looking like the food, they´re pretty awesome, I think. For myself, I think my biggest favorit embellisment is my flowers.ribbons and small charms. I just loves these things, and I´m almost as addicted to ribbon and flowers as I am to gorgeous papers, I´m afraid he he he. But I also got a new tool not long ago, one of these Ephifany punchers you can use to make your own embellisments with small acrylic caps on a tiny picture, it is so cool too, and I´ve had a lot of fun with those, and it actually reminds a bit about these too. But else I´m always open for trying new things.

ReplyDeleteMy favourite embellishment is corners cut using my Quickutz corner die and then embellised with a pearl. The die has been discontinued and was really hard to get hold of, so I love it all the more ♥ I think I use these corners on at least half of my cards as they're really elegant and finish them off perfectly.

If I had to pick one item, it would be ribbon. You can manipulate ribbon into different shapes and designs, gather it, make flowers, pleat it, cut it, burn the edges--endless methods. Thanks for offering the goodies!

My favorite embellishment(s) is ANYTHING 3-D! Using a zot or dot to make a quikutz, ribbon, or button 'stand out' just adds to the page whether it be in a scrapbook, daybook, smash book, or card...LUV 'EM ALL!

ReplyDeleteMy favourite embellishment is bottle tops with dome stickers in the centre. These give a simular effect.
Even if you just stick a colour in the centre they make a great touch!
