Giveaway, Wise Decor!

saturated canary digis
saturated canary digis

I am a words person. It is my love language.
I use to write with sharpies all over my jeans, the lyrics of songs, Scripture, quotes, anything really.
Now I just tattoo stuff on my skin:).
Or, I put it on our walls.
A few good words lined up in a row can shift my whole day~
Spoken, written, however they come...They just reach down and sit heavy in my heart,
Beautiful, sweet, and remembered.

I was invited to choose some wall decals from Wise Decor to add to our word collection.
After searching through the tons of designs they offer and then contemplating on maybe even going the custom route, I found 1 Timothy 4:14 in their list of Scriptures...And that was it.

Perfectly timed.
Ever needed.
And now applied to our old 70's paneling, offering a daily reminder to not neglect the gift within.
Who knew panelling could look so good.

Gifts are never meant to be buried away, forgotten, ignored, or neglected.
The things that stir your heart to excitement,
the things you know and are good at,
the things that make you feel alive,
the things that inspire you to do more of the same~
You feel drawn there for a reason.
For a true and honest and legit purpose.

To spend a lifetime cultivating our unique gifts~ mining, digging, uncovering their beauty and scope...can you imagine the legacy we'd leave?

  8. I am gifted at never winning a board game...my kids LOVE for me to play with them as long as I'm not on their team... I have the worst luck at games, but consider it a gift since I get to watch one of them always win!

  11. I know it is cheesey but I am gifted at helping others; especially when it comes to matters relating to health. Hopefully I will be able to make a career out of it bc it is something I am truly passionate about :)

  13. Wow, thank you so much for the chance to win such a wonderful prize. I have followed on both Facebook & Pinterest. My gift is that I am artistic in knowing, when an item will go with another, the colours. Just by picking up one item from my craft table & being able to create a card/invitation or what ever comes to mind. I am also gifted, as said by many of my friends, to be a gifted listener,
This is comment number 2, as I am following on 2 different social media content.
    {{{hugs}}} for a wonderful designer/artist, Krista ;0
    Marg ;) xx

  15. I have been told many times that I am gifted with the ability to say 'the perfect thing' or 'just what was needed' when people are needing, searching for comfort or direction. I make sure to be honest but if it is something that may hurt I try hard to make sure it is delivered comfortably. If someone asks me for the truth- I honour them by giving it and making sure I say it is just my opinion. Does that make any sense? I am far from perfect and have many flaws but I am learning to embrace them and try to help others embrace their as well. We are hear to learn and grow and to love above all. We need to help each other on our paths. Okay I am rambling so I will stop now. More caffeine needed lol xo

  19. Krista, I thought you had fallen off the face of the internet! Goodness! It is such a happy surprise to see your posts...the positive note of most of my days! I love how eclectic your home is. I want mine to be too. I am just now getting to recovery to start thinking about changing the walls, the floors, the lights. Your sense of color on your digis are encouraging and help too! Take care of yourself...

  20. I woke up this morning craving the neglected stamps, markers, inks, and paints I have boxed up in my garage. I miss them so much, I decided to look at all the beauties that settle my cravings; the lovely creative blogs I used to frequent. Then I saw your message right there on the wall, plain as day, and I can't help but to cry. I am totally neglecting my gifts within. I don't know how to label my exact talents, but it's a mixture of arts and altered projects that I love to make with my hands, heart, and eyes. I made a promise to myself that if I got accepted in the nursing program, I would box up all my distractions, so I can concentrate on only nursing. I want to be the best nurse I can be, I want to give back, I want to go on missionaries, I want to do the work god has planned for me. My dad has also mentioned I have a gift and I shouldn't neglect it; maybe it's time I try and incorporate a little of it back in my life. Thanks for reminding me of those beautiful words this morning, they are something to live by.
